From the recording These Are the Promises
This song evolved dramatically from the original demo into something quite special as all four members had a hand in arranging it, drawing upon each players unique gifts. It is by far the best song the band has ever written, incorporating several styles and highlighting the musical and lyrical talents of each member. Moving from jangle pop, to shimmering chamber pop, before locking into a groove. Lyrically it’s a true story of finding the love of one’s life and making promises in one's sleep.

Lyrics
Skipping and running jumping through the park, night and day.
Skipping and jumping running through the park, away.
She came to me
Thought what it could be
I have nothing on my mind
When she came over
I didn't know her
So we fooled around some times.
Skipping and running jumping through the park, night and day.
Skipping and running jumping through the park, away.
She came to me
What it could be
I have nothing on my mind
When she came over
I didn't know her
But we fooled around some times.
These are the promises I made in my sleep
These are the promises I meant to keep
These are the promises I made in my sleep
These are the promises I meant to keep
She came to me
What it could be
Gotten better all the time
