After a self-imposed eighteen month hiatus due largely to the pandemic, The Swell Crusade reconvened in the summer of 2021 to shake off the rust and start work on the long-awaited follow-up to their 2019 debut album "Blue Skies All the Way." Working from demos and song ideas begun just prior to the pandemic, the band spent the summer and fall shaping and honing these into seven disparate tracks that further refine and expand upon the sonic tapestry of their debut.
Building upon its forerunner's strengths, the songs were written and arranged intentionally to allow each instrument space to breathe and add punctuation to the lyrical phrasing. At times reminiscent of classic 80's and 90's Indie Pop with shades of R.E.M., Oasis, and the Charlatans. credits releases June 3, 2022
